Please read all of it. “Cafe” means Palm Coast Play Cafe, its owners, staff and volunteers.

Adults supervise at all times

A parent, guardian or responsible adult aged 18 or over must stay in the building and watch their children the whole time, including at parties and classes, unless the cafe has told you in writing that a class is drop-off. Staff run the space; they are not babysitters.

Play has risks

Climbing, running and tumbling can lead to falls, collisions, bumps, scrapes, sprains, broken bones, choking on small items or food, allergic reactions, and the spread of germs. These risks exist even when the cafe takes care, and I accept them for myself and my children.

House rules

We will follow the posted rules and staff directions, wear socks in play areas, keep children within the age and size limits of each area, and keep sick children at home. A child with a fever, vomiting or a contagious illness in the last 24 hours will not attend.

Food and allergies

The cafe cannot promise any food or surface is free of allergens. I will tell staff about allergies, and I will only bring outside food when the cafe has approved it.

Emergencies

If someone is hurt or ill and staff cannot reach me, I allow staff to call 911 and arrange emergency care. I am responsible for any medical costs.

Release of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, I release the cafe from all claims for injury, illness, death or property loss to me or my children that arise from using the cafe, including claims based on the cafe’s ordinary negligence. This does not release claims for gross negligence or intentional harm. I understand I am giving up legal rights, and I agree to cover the cafe’s costs if my children or guests cause damage or harm to others.

Parties and classes

Every child at a party or class needs a signed waiver from their own parent or guardian. If I host a party, I will share this page with each invited family before the day. I am responsible for the behavior of my guests.

Belongings

The cafe is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings, including shoes, bags and phones.

How long this lasts

This waiver applies to every visit for one year from the date I sign. My electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one. I confirm I am the parent or legal guardian of each child listed and have the authority to sign for them.
